What's the Hackathon about?

Be part of MENA’s insurtech future with INSURHACK 


The largest insurer in the MENA region, Qatar Insurance Company, the leading go-to digital InsurTech ecosystem player, QIC DVP, the leading global professional services firm, Deloitte and the global cloud provider, Google Cloud are excited to launch the biggest startup call in the MENA region.

 

We are looking for the most innovative companies developing solutions in big tech analytics, AI/ML, behavioral economics and conversational AI to co-build a new Health and Mobility customer experience.  All startups in MENA, SEA and Europe matching the requirement and looking to expand their business in the MENA region are welcome to join. 
 
This is a unique opportunity to work together with organizers such as QIC, DVP, Deloitte, Google Cloud and partners such as Prifina, Anthemis and QFC to co-develop real life solutions in the region that will help solve the changing customer needs in the mobility and health insurance verticals.

Motor insurances are to be affected by emerging technologies and digitalisation that will help improve vehicle safety, change vehicle ownership models, and increase asset utilization, all of which impact the auto insurance industry and enable a better customer experience.

Rewards For The Top 3 Teams (worth up to $50K USD) 

For The Top Finalist: 
 
You will be invited to pitch at ITC Vegas 2022 the world’s largest conference of insurance and will have an exclusive session with the worlds leading VC, Anthemis.

Furthermore, you will secure co-building a solution in the MENA region with the support of regional market leaders such QIC, QIC DVP, Deloitte, Google Cloud & other giants and secure a potential investment. 
 

For the second and third finalist: 
 
You will secure co-building a solution in the MENA region with the support of regional market leaders such QIC, QIC DVP, Deloitte, Google Cloud & other giants and a potential investment opportunity. 

Final Event in Doha

June 22nd and 23rd

The 6 finalist startups will attend the grand event on 22nd and 23rd June in Doha, Qatar. During the first day we will have an informal get together where Teams, Organizers and Partners will get to know each other. On the second day, the Qatar InsurTech Summit will take place, during which the 6 finalists will pitch their projects / solutions to a reputable committee of judges. 

All 6 finalists (1 individual / startup) will get coverage for the trip to Doha.
